DJ Sole is the offspring of passion and hard work. Born a natural learner Sole started to DJ seriously around the millennium shift and has in recent years evolved his style winning him respect in the music community quickly.
By spending his childhood in Sweden with heritage from the Middle East and adopting U.K. as his home he has opened his musical sense to a level where music exceeds genres and where the enjoyment of sounds is the focal point.
DJ Sole brings an eclectic mix painting a palette of rhythms including but not limited to Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, R’N’B, Break Beats, Dancehall, UK Funky, Electro, in fact Sole plays anything that will make people move and smile as the main ingredient to the perfect musical tale is- FUN.
For the past deccade Sole has shaped his mixing into near perfection serving as a club DJ in high demand. With regular plays the U.K. and Europe it has been Sole’s biggest market where he has played for official release parties such as B.I.G., P. Diddy, Lupe Fiasco and Missy Elliot and having held several recidencies over the years Sole has DJ’d along side some of the finest DJs on the planet, Fatboy Slim, Jazzy Jeff, G.M.F, Ronnie Herel just to name a few.
In 2009 Sole was invited to play at Urban Cruise in Stockholm Sweden, which was one of the largest Urban events held on a massive ship. Sole has also expanded into playing gigs in international cities like Paris, Berlin, Dublin, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Oslo, Creet and Bergen. Sole is expanding his music across the globe and looks at the future optimistically as the world is his oyster.
Today Sole runs his branded night “The Sole Session” which brings you a unique blend of music stretching across time and dimension. The Sole Session is Sole’s own little world where he can run lose with his imagination and deliver some of the forgotten gems alongside the newest club bangers.
